A friend of mine has been asking me to teach him some of the basics of playing guitar. Since I am a proponent of teaching chords and songs together to help get someone going, I’ve started teaching him the basic chords from the Key of E so he can play a couple of familiar songs from our church. I’ve posted the chords here in case anyone else may want to join us. Note: some of the finger formations have been modified from a friend of mine and make it both easier to play and offer a more “open” sound.
